Mr. Li De Don was born on May 9, 1955 in East Asia, in a small town of San Du Gensan Bukto. He spent his student years in Seoul, where he got in touch with American culture and democratic life style: he wore jeans, was fond of the bottle, listened to jazz and rock music, led free and uncontrollable life. Profound changes happened after his joining to the European cultural traditions, to the history and culture of Russia. His life in Russia and work as a probationer in Khabarovsk State Pedagogical University contributed to liberation of his emotional potential. Having realized his true human and spiritual "ego", the artist decided to give a new meaning to his entire creative experience and to appeal to the audience asking for the people's generous attitude to him.

There cruelty and chaos reign!
In my works I want
To recreate primeval integrity from the ruins!

Nature is eternal:
The Earth revolves now, this very minute,
The Sun rises in the east and sets in the west,
White clouds float across the wide and deep blue sky today as well.
In my works I want to show how ditch-water stagnates
And stinks. And living creatures desert it. All this results from too much love for money. It is the road leading to death.
This is our TODAY.
Isn't it true that our look, as much as the look of the artist, goes bad in this greedy world, in this foul water?
I, the artist, show with my works that sooner or later ditch-water becomes clear and clean!
The reason is like this.
There will be running water, clean and clear. It will purify muddy water. And then there, in this water, lively and viable creatures will mass.
Russia is the mother of vast expanses!
Khabarovsk entered its blossom season, bright and life-giving. And the clean water, which fills our souls, merges and becomes an immense river running across the expanses. And the white clouds float across the blue sky as ever before.
